Carla Fullwood, Ph.D., CPC, currently serves as the Director of Inclusive Excellence Education and Development at Elon University, a position held since February 2021. With extensive experience in higher education, Carla has also worked as a Faculty-Diversity & Inclusion Content Expert at the Academy of Creative Coaching since February 2017. Previously, Carla held key roles at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, including Assistant Director of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program and the Office of Intercultural Engagement, and served as Associate Director of The Center for Race, Ethnicity, & Diversity Education at Elon University. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant Dean of Intercultural Engagement at Marquette University and Sociocultural Program Manager at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Carla obtained a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from SUNY New Paltz.
