Sims Osborne

Sims Osborne is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Elon University since July 2023, having previously served as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2017 to July 2023, where research focused on real-time systems and culminated in a dissertation titled "Using Simultaneous Multithreading to Support Real-Time Scheduling." Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where responsibilities encompassed grading and research that led to multiple publications, and as a Macro Developer Intern at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, focusing on macro development and data analysis. Sims Osborne holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
