Daan Salomé

Daan Salomé is a Data Scientist/Engineer at Elopak since March 2024, previously serving as a Senior Data Science Consultant at Bright Cape from October 2019 to February 2024, where Daan led varied projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Additionally, Daan has experience as a part-time Mathematics Teacher at Reynaertcollege from November 2021 to July 2022, and as a Graduate Intern at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, where Daan wrote an MSc thesis on bearing lifetimes. Earlier internships include work at Achmea focusing on fraud detection with neural networks, along with multiple student assistant roles aiding engineering and mathematics students during studies at Eindhoven University of Technology, where Daan earned an MSc in Industrial and Applied Mathematics and a BSc in Applied Mathematics.
