Brian K. Fortson

Brian K. Fortson is a Senior Environmental Scientist and Ecologist at ELOS Environmental, LLC, since April 2013, specializing in regulatory approvals, biological assessments, and environmental compliance for both public and private sector clients. Prior to this role, Brian K. Fortson served St. Tammany Parish for over 24 years in various positions, including Coastal Wetland and Environmental Resource Manager and Environmental Specialist, where responsibilities included managing natural resource programs, advising on environmental issues, and coordinating wetland restoration projects. Brian K. Fortson holds a Juris Doctor degree in Civil Law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, a B.S. in Wetland Ecology and Field Zoology from Southeastern Louisiana University, and certification in Wetland Jurisdictional Delineation from the LSU Wetland Biogeochemistry Institute.
