Emily Proskine Hurd

Emily Proskine Hurd is currently the Managing Director at ELR Legal Search. Prior to this role, Emily served as a City Council Member and Deputy Mayor at the City of Rye from 2016 to 2020. Emily also has experience as a Corporate Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from 2007 to 2011. Emily holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a diverse educational background in Gender Policy, Arabic, International Policy Studies, Leadership, International Studies, Spanish, and Women's Studies. Emily has also served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as Five Steps to Five and Friends of the Rye Nature Center.
