Nicholas Parslow is a Research Scientist at ELSA, Corp since October 2021, with prior experience as a Computational Linguist at SoapBox Labs from March 2017 to October 2021, where impactful contributions were made to multilingual NLP infrastructure and the development of a verification system. Previous roles include a Research Intern at Inria, focused on syntactic analysis for L2 French writing, and extensive experience as an ESL teacher at various institutions, including Queen's School of English and British Centre. Nicholas holds a Master of Computational Linguistics from the University of Paris Diderot and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics, Philosophy, and French from The University of Sydney, where ongoing doctoral studies in High Energy Physics are also pursued. Additional educational accomplishments include CELTA certification and participation in online courses through Coursera and Udacity.
