Jesper Sjöstrand has extensive work experience, starting in 2011 as a Kassapersonal at Coop Sverige. In 2013, they worked as a Loan Officer at Advisa AB until 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Credit Officer at SEB Kort. In 2017, Jesper joined EXONEURAL NETWORK AB as a CFO, responsible for managing the company's finances and handling various tasks such as budget planning, financial reports, capital raisings, and HR/staff responsibility. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Elsa Science since 2022.
Jesper Sjöstrand completed their Gymnasieutbildning (high school education) in Samhällsvetenskap med Utlandsstudier (Social Sciences with International Studies) from Nacka Gymnasium from 2010 to 2013. In 2011, they participated in a study abroad program at Canterbury College in Kent, UK, as part of their Gymnasieutbildning.
Later, Jesper attended Uppsala University from 2014 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics with a specialization in Management & Control. Jesper also took part in an exchange semester at Deakin University in 2016, as part of their Bachelor's degree program at Uppsala University, focusing on Business and Economics.

Elsa is a platform for patient-driven research for better drugs, health, and prevention. Elsa lets patients become their own personal researchers by providing them with a better understanding of how lifestyle factors may affect their disease activity measurements for chronic disease. To support them from a scientific perspective, Elsa gives themaccess to data on their specific disease through the Riskminder foundation and scientific studies at Karolinska Institutet.
