Janhavi Mada

Janhavi Mada is a Bioinformatics Scientist II at Elucidata since January 2023, where responsibilities include the scientific curation of metadata for scRNA, Bulk RNA, and microarray data, as well as understanding experimental designs for accurate curation. Prior experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Analyst and BioCuration Intern at Elucidata and a Single Cell Curation Intern focused on the MLOps Platform “Polly,” utilizing Python for data analysis. Janhavi's academic background includes an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma in Bioinformatics from St. Xavier's College, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Ramnarain Ruia College. A previous role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow involved supporting master’s students in programming and database concepts. Additionally, participation in a Biological Exploration Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania provided further exposure to advanced laboratory practices.
