Kevin Yuan

Kevin Yuan has worked as a Lead Engineer at Elwood since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Trade Analyst Engineer at Elwood from June 2021 to April 2023. Before joining Elwood, Kevin worked as a Trading Analyst at SmartestEnergy from July 2019 to June 2021. Kevin also has experience as a PhD Researcher at Imperial College London, where they focused on modelling and designing photonic devices from October 2015 to December 2018. In addition, Kevin worked as a part-time Scientific Consultant at LIFESCAPED LIMITED from May 2017 to August 2017, where they developed models for surface reflectance using ray-tracing combined with transfer matrix method.

Kevin Yuan completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge, earning a Master of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from 2010 to 2013. Kevin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics at the same university from 2013 to 2014. Following this, they attended Imperial College London from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Research in Plastic Electronics CDT.
