John Wheeler, MPA, MSS

John Wheeler, MPA, MSS has worked for various companies since 2000. John began their career as a student at the US Army Armor Center. In 2001, they became a Scout Platoon Leader at A TRP, 1-14 CAV, 3/2 SBCT. In 2002, they became a MGS Platoon Leader at 1-23 IN, 3/2 SBCT. In 2003, they were an S1 at 1-14 CAV, 3/2 SBCT. From 2006 to 2021, they worked for the Washington Army National Guard where they held various roles such as Senior Director, Operations and Governance, Senior Director (Battalion Commander), Director, Organizational Development, Director, Organizational Training and Resourcing, and Senior Program Manager, Operations and Governance. In 2006, they also worked for Target as a Group Leader, T600, Lacey, WA. In 2021, they were a Senior Director, Enterprise Training & Education Programs at the US Army. Currently, they are a Transitioning Soldier at the Cullman County Commission and a Business Development Manager (Federal Services) at ELYON International.

John Wheeler, MPA, MSS has an extensive educational background. John obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University in 2000. John then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Norwich University in 2014, and a Master in Military Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in August 2022 and from Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) in June 2022.
