Mat Flamant

Mat Flamant has a wealth of experience in the technology and finance industries. Mat began their career in 2000 as an Operations Specialist at Netsize, a Gemalto company. In 2001, they became a Junior Strategy Consultant at Canope, a strategy boutique firm specialized in IT for Healthcare, Education, and eGovernment. In 2002, they joined Orange as a Technology Analyst, writing various industry analyses and research reports on Digital Media, Online Entertainment, Mobile, and Web Technologies. In 2008, Mat co-founded the Rio de Janeiro Chapter of MobileMonday, a series of not-for-profit events focused on innovation and presenting the latest trends related to mobile. In 2010, they were a Senior Lecturer in Innovation at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Juror for the WSA Mobile, a Grand Jury composed of 20 international experts awarding the most innovative mobile products. In 2012, Mat became the Chief Technology Officer at Payment.net, an API-driven multi-currency regulated payment service provider. In 2018, they co-founded Elyps, a Financial Institution providing current accounts and digital assets-related services, leading Engineering, Operations, and Product. In 2022, Mat co-founded Elyps Capital Management, an Investment funds specialised in digital assets and blockchain tech, leading technology and underlying protocol analysis.

Mat Flamant has a Master's Degree in Management of Technology and Innovation from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, a Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and has taken Computer Science Courses in Cryptography and Machine Learning from Stanford University. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS CTO Fellow in February 2022, and from KPMG for AML/CFT for Digital Asset Service Providers in October 2022.
