Sibel Ilter

Sibel Ilter has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2021, they have been working as part of the business development team at Elypta, a pre-market liquid biopsy company focused on early cancer detection and diagnostics. In this role, they work closely with the VP on strategizing, modeling, forecasting, fundraising, and general research.

Prior to Elypta, Sibel worked at Industrifonden in different roles. From 2020 to 2021, they were a junior analyst, and from January to May 2021, they worked as a master thesis student, conducting a quantitative study on the performance outcomes of Swedish early-stage life science companies. Sibel also interned as a VC intern at Industrifonden from October 2020 to January 2021.

Before their time at Industrifonden, Sibel had a role in business development at Synergus RWE from July to October 2020. Sibel was also involved in market strategy at brighter from April to June 2020.

Sibel's work experience also includes being an editor and author at Medicor MF Magazine from August 2015 to June 2017.

Sibel Ilter pursued their education at Karolinska Institutet, where they completed a Bachelor's programme in Biomedicine from 2014 to 2017. In 2019, they returned to Karolinska Institutet to enroll in the Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship, which they pursued until 2021.
