Chris Thompson has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Chris started their career as the Owner of Christopher Thompson Photography in 2010 and held this role until 2015. Chris then joined Campbell Soup Company in 2010 and served as a Business Unit Leader until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant QA Manager at Campbell Soup Company. In 2016, they moved on to Elysian Brewing Co, where they initially served as an Operations Manager, overseeing production, supply chain operations, quality assurance, and maintenance of the brewery/assets. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Operations, and in 2019, they assumed the position of Senior Director of Operations.

Chris Thompson's education history includes pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at WSU Carson College of Business. Prior to that, they attended the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts), where they focused on Audio Engineering & Post Production. Chris also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The Ohio State University. Additionally, Chris has studied Engineering at the University of Cincinnati.

In terms of certifications, they obtained HACCP Certification in January 2013 and MAST Certification (from Rserving) in Washington State in June 2017.

Elysian Brewing Co

Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations and a production brewery in Seattle, Washington. Known for classic styles, flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 350 different recipes since opening in 1996. Our first Seattle location, opened in 1996 on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most populous neighborhood. Elysian Fields, opened in August 2006. Perched next to Seattle’s two sports arenas, Fields seats 400 and packs the house at lunch and on game days. Fields has since become an innovation center for our brewers where new beers are brewed each week on the 7bbl brew. In 2017, our Taproom opened next to our Georgetown brewery.
