Jerry Long

Jerry Long is a seasoned applications engineer with extensive experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as a Senior Applications Engineer and Product Development at EMA Design Automation since January 2007, Jerry supports and promotes EMA design solutions utilizing various Cadence PCB development products and contributes to the development of a static timing analysis product for the EDA industry. Prior positions include Senior Applications Engineer at Forte Design Systems and a Member of Technical Staff at Advanced Micro Devices/Lattice Semiconductor, where Jerry focused on factory applications and customer technical support. Earlier roles include Field Applications Engineer at Marshall Industries, and Design Engineer at ElectroSpace Systems Inc. and Westronic Systems Corp. Jerry earned a degree from The University of Texas at Austin between 1984 and 1988.
