Ashish Gupta

Ashish Gupta is an experienced professional in the paper industry, holding significant leadership roles over a career spanning several decades. Ashish began as an Engineer in Design and Development at Paper Mill Plant Suppliers from March 1988 to August 1993, where responsibilities included designing machinery components and implementing AutoCAD-based designs. From September 1993 to June 2022, Ashish served at EMAMI PAPER MILLS LIMITED, progressing to the positions of President & Unit Head, President, Head of Manufacturing, and Vice President, overseeing major projects between 1994 and 2007. Subsequently, Ashish worked at ITC Limited from September 2007 to December 2017, taking on roles such as General Manager (Engineering) and General Manager (Projects), managing project execution at the Bhadrachalam facility, as well as serving as Dy. General Manager (Projects) in the Paperboard and Specialty Papers Division. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Bangalore University, completed in December 1987.
