Michelle Doan has extensive experience in member engagement and entrepreneurial leadership. As the Member Engagement Chair for the Entrepreneurs Organization - Orange County since November 2018, Michelle has held various positions within the organization, including chair roles for the 2023-2024 and 2022-2023 terms, and involvement in several committees since 2019. Additionally, Michelle is the founder of EMANI Vegan Cosmetics, where responsibilities include product and brand development, creating marketing strategies, driving sales growth, and fostering international partnerships, alongside serving as a global product trainer and motivator for the sales team since September 1998.

Emani is a true vegan makeup and skincare brand founded in Huntington Beach, California in 1998. We believe good skin can happen to everyone and it doesn’t have to take an army of products. We can unlock good skin by utilizing a patented fermentation process to alleviate skin’s pesky issues. Michelle Doan, Emani founder, and CEO was obsessed with having happy skin since she suffered cystic acne at the age of 15. Emani was rooted in her journey fighting acne, self-worth, and self-esteem. Tracing back to her Asian heritage and the “old ways” of utilizing herbs, bio-active fermentation was the missing master key. Health and beauty for the individual and the planet have always been our main purpose. We are a company energized by eco-friendly manufacturing and technology + ethical suppliers. Today Emani offers true vegan makeup products that are safe for the skin and don’t contain unnecessary ingredients that cause many skin problems. Studies show women use an average of 5 lbs. of beauty products annually, and 12 personal care products per day that expose their bodies to up to 126 unique chemical ingredients daily. Since 1998 we have been bringing alternative that was awarded several times on the domestic and international market. Emani is currently cooperating with distributors in 14 countries worldwide in B2B and B2C channels and is constantly looking for new partners around the world to bring products to new markets. Emani's glass packaging is 100% recyclable and unit cartons are 100% recyclable & biodegradable. Emani is a supporting partner with Dignity not Despair, a non-profit that brings hope and beauty for female refugees by collecting and donating makeup & hygiene kits to create normalcy.
