Gnaneswara Rao brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the maritime sector, currently serving as Senior Manager at Emarat Maritime, LLC since September 2006, where Gnaneswara spearheads digital transformation and sustainability initiatives. A seasoned subject matter expert, Gnaneswara supports various business functions, enhancing operational efficiency and safety through advanced marine data technologies. Previous roles include Project Manager and PMS Engineer at Emarat Maritime, and Projects Manager and Service Engineer at Marine Electronics and Navigation Systems (P) Ltd, where Gnaneswara contributed to key projects and the installation of marine navigation systems in the Middle East. Early career experience includes serving as a Marine Artificer with the Indian Coast Guard. Gnaneswara holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School and an MS in Strategic Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth.
