Mads Harmsen

Mads Harmsen is currently serving as the COO at Embankment since July 2022. Prior to this, Mads held the position of Head of Group Governance and Risk at The Many from January 2021 to June 2022. With a background in economics, Mads has also worked at Danske Bank as the Head of Risk Governance and at Danmarks Nationalbank as a Senior Advisor. Mads has a PhD in Economics from Aarhus University, where Mads also obtained a Master's degree in Economics. Throughout their career, Mads has held various positions such as Post Doc at the University of Copenhagen, PhD student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Aarhus, and Research Assistant at the Centre for Labour Market and Social Research.
