January Miller is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in developing programs and initiatives to support underserved students in Chicago. Currently serving as Vice President of Education at the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, January co-founded Embarc, a non-profit focused on social-emotional learning and post-secondary access for students from high-violence and high-poverty backgrounds. January’s career highlights include expanding Embarc's reach to 20 Chicago Public High Schools, serving thousands of students, and leading training programs at the Chicago Jobs Council. Additionally, January has worked as a product owner for Chicagoland Workforce Funder Alliance, facilitating pathways to employment for marginalized youth. With a Master of Education in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, January has held various educational roles, enhancing the learning experience for students and training educators across multiple institutions.
