Henny Ohr

Henny Ohr is the Executive Director at EMBARC. Henny has dedicated their career to fighting for the rights of immigrants and ethnic minorities. Henny previously worked as a Program and Policy Coordinator at the Iowa Department of Human Rights, a Legal Representative at Main Street Legal Services, and Acting Director of Alumni Relations at the City University of New York School of Law. In their current position, they lead the organization in its mission to empower Burma’s ethnic minority communities through education, advocacy, and leadership development.

Henny Ohr has a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from Hunter College.
