Kristiana Capati Choquet is an Independent Advisor at EMBARK Beyond. Kristiana was previously a Luxury Travel Consultant at Ovation Corporate Travel from April 2015 to March 2019. Prior to that, they were a Young Professional for the Multi Sector HIV/AIDS Prevention Program at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from August 2012 to August 2013. In this role, they managed the partnership between GIZ and the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory for Community Dialogues Project, acted as first point of contact for staff of the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory, monitored disbursements of 2 million Euros of German federal grant funding, scheduled progress project implementation meetings with all internal and external project managers and implementers, recorded minutes of all project progress implementation meetings with involved stakeholders, conducted routine site visits in remote areas of the Mpumulanga and Eastern Cape provinces where the Community Dialogues were being conducted, liaised with representatives from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, who granted funding for the Community Dialogues project, and arranged MHIVP team logistics for the 2013 SA AIDS Conference.

Kristiana Capati Choquet graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from New York University. Kristiana then went on to complete a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) with a focus in Development Studies at the Hertie School. During their time at the Hertie School, they also completed an exchange semester at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
