Christian Schmidli

Christian Schmidli is the current Head of Automation & Machine Learning at Embark Studios. Prior to this, they were with Embark Studios for 1 year 10 months, where they held positions such as Head of Commercial & Publishing and Head of Automation and Machine Learning. Christian also spent 2 years 1 month as a Tech Advisor for Sustainable Finance with Världsnaturfonden WWF / WWF Sweden.

Before joining Embark Studios, Christian spent 5 years 10 months at King, where they were a Senior Product Manager AI R&D and Senior Data Scientist. In these roles, they led a team of developers, data scientists and AI engineers that worked on R&D projects in the analytics/AI department. Christian was also responsible for Real Time/Stream Analytics, Personalized User Experience, AI-driven content production, A/B Testing, Anomaly detection for game monitoring, and Level optimisation in Candy Crush.

Prior to their time at King, Christian spent 5 years 7 months at SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd as a Business Analyst and Data Integrity Manager Derivative. In these roles, they were responsible for Optimization of quality, consistency and performance of data processes, Complex data analysis for internal use (billing, QA) as well as external clients (reports), and Business owner of the reference data model for structured products.
