Simona Petravić

Simona Petravić is a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Embark Studios, specializing in physics-based animation since February 2023. Prior experience includes a research internship at EPFL, focusing on knowledge distillation with graph neural networks for epileptic seizure detection, and serving as a Master Thesis Student at Scania Sverige, where the thesis addressed upper body postural analysis of forklift operators using AI. Additionally, experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Scania involved reinforcement learning for logistics optimization, and work as a Data Scientist at CrazyLabs centered on game data analytics. Simona holds a Master of Science in ICT Innovation - Autonomous Systems from Aalto University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer System Engineering, Automation, and Robotics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje.
