Kim O’Connor

Kim O'Connor serves as the Audit Committee Chair and Independent Board Member at Embark since September 2023. Previously, Kim held the position of Independent Board Member at Horizon Technology Finance Corporation for a brief period in early 2023, resigning due to a merger-related independence issue. From January 2004 to July 2022, Kim was the Office Managing Partner for Grant Thornton LLP in the Boston office, focusing on market strategy, client coordination, and cultural development, while maintaining a role as an audit partner for significant clients. Prior to Grant Thornton, Kim was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1987 to 2002. Educationally, Kim has earned the NACD Directorship Certification and participated in executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School, alongside an undergraduate degree in Economics from The Wharton School, graduating summa cum laude.
