Hassan Abbas

Hassan Abbas serves as the Ambassador of Lebanon at the Embassy of Lebanon since February 2018, having previously held positions such as Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations from November 2014 to January 2018 and Head of the Americas and UN Section in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants from May 2012 to November 2014. Additional experience includes roles as First Secretary and Deputy Chief of Mission in both the Embassy of Lebanon in London and the Embassy of Lebanon in Bucharest, as well as serving as an Attaché in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants from April 1999 to September 2001. Hassan Abbas completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Lebanese American University, graduating in 1999 and 1997, respectively.
