Hafsa Abugoukh

Hafsa Abugoukh is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in database administration and system administration. Since November 2011, Hafsa has been serving as an Information Technology Officer at the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC, specializing in the installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server instances in a multi-node clustered environment, while ensuring high availability of data through robust backup processes. Additionally, Hafsa has held the position of Database Engineer at CMIT Solutions of Dupont Circle since October 2019 and previously worked as a System Administrator at Diesel Generators Co. Ltd. in Sudan from April 2006 to April 2010. Hafsa began a career in academia as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Khartoum from January 2003 to January 2004 and holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Khartoum.
