Jonna Matthiesen

Jonna Matthiesen is a Deep Learning Researcher at Embedl since August 2023, previously serving as a Master Thesis Student in Deep Learning at the same company. Prior experience includes positions as a Data Scientist at Hilti Group, where Jonna utilized IoT tool data to enhance tool development, and at AstraZeneca, focusing on Cytochrome P450 inhibition predictions through machine learning. Jonna has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Embedl, implementing hyperparameter optimization methods, and as a Teaching Assistant at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel for mathematics-related courses. Jonna holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kiel University.
