Mariia Podguzova is an AI Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since February 2022. Previously, Mariia contributed to a master thesis on image reconstruction from human brain activity using variational autoencoders and adversarial learning at the University of Stuttgart from November 2020 to May 2021. Experience includes a role as a Student Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, assisting in the development of a simulation environment for learning-based navigation from November 2020 to March 2021, and a Student Intern position at Bosch focused on uncertainty quantification and calibration for deep neural network-based object detection in automated driving from May 2020 to November 2020.
