Energy & Climate Data Analyst at Ember

Elisabeth Cremona is an experienced Energy and Climate Data Analyst at Ember, focusing on EU decarbonisation policies and the allocation of public funds for the power sector since June 2021. Prior to this role, Elisabeth served as a Policy Analyst at The Energy and Water Agency, where significant contributions included the development of Malta’s first national energy system modelling framework and participation in the national electricity supply forecasting. Additionally, Elisabeth worked as a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator at the University of Malta, addressing sustainable development and eco-politics, while also managing curriculum revisions. Earlier, as a Policy Officer for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Malta, Elisabeth directed the Maltese EU Presidency program in Greece and Cyprus and organized initiatives on migration. Elisabeth holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Malta.
