Head of Growth at Ember

Matt Lefort is currently the Head of Growth at Ember. Prior to that, they were the Lead Strategist at Ladder.io from June 2019 to April 2021. Matt has also held positions at 11FS, Mettle, and Just For Laughs / Juste pour rire.

At Ladder.io, Matt was responsible for helping small businesses make better decisions through the Mettle app. Matt also oversaw a team of content creators, graphic designers, asset managers, social media coordinators and various contractors. Matt's previous experience with developing online entertainment portfolios and working with international offices helped him excel in their role at Ladder.io.

Before joining Ladder.io, Matt was the Growth Manager at Mettle. In this role, they were responsible for monetizing online content and developing platform partnerships. Matt was also instrumental in structuring projects, setting objectives, timelines, and delivery metrics.

Matt began their career as the Digital Manager at Just For Laughs / Juste pour rire. In this role, they managed a team of creators and coordinators while also developing the company's online entertainment portfolio. Matt also worked with the company's international offices in a lead or support capacity.

Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage teams, develop and execute growth strategies, and structure projects for success. Matt's experience in the entertainment industry has been invaluable in helping Ember grow and succeed.

After completing their high school education at the Atlanta International School, Matt Lefort pursued a Bachelor's Degree in finance, marketing, and international business at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. Matt then went on to earn a certification from IBM in IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer.

They are on a team with Riikka Kallio - Head of People, Cam Finney - Head of CX, and Daniel Bondzie - Head of Partnerships. Matt Lefort reports to Aaron Shaw, Co-Founder & CEO.
