Rhys Streefland

Rhys Streefland is a seasoned technology professional with significant experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Senior Backend Engineer at Ember since August 2022, Rhys previously worked as a Platform Engineer at Freetrade and held various positions at Just Eat for Business, including Senior Software Engineer and Mid Level Developer. Earlier experience includes co-founding Blueprint, working as an IT Analyst at G-Research, and mentoring at FutureLearn. Rhys began a career in technology as a Computer Engineer at WireITfree and also gained experience as a QA Testing Intern at Sony Professional Solutions Europe. Rhys holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Reading and A-Levels in Electronics, Applied ICT, and Physics from Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr.
