Dr. Lee Kohlman is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Ember Flash Aerospace, Inc., where they lead the development of innovative technologies aimed at wildfire response and impact mitigation. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Aerospace Engineer at NASA's Ames Research Center and returned to NASA's Glenn Research Center, focusing on electric and alternative fuel power systems for aircraft propulsion. Dr. Kohlman holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Akron, with past research spanning composite materials, superconductors, and urban air mobility. In addition to their professional endeavors, they enjoy photography, electronics, home renovation, and programming.
