Kristine Goulding

Kristine Goulding is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in international organizations. Currently serving as a Risk Coordinator at EMBL since November 2025, Kristine previously held the position of Senior Risk Management Officer at UNHCR from August 2020 to November 2025. Prior roles include Risk Management Officer at UNHCR and various Technical Officer positions at the World Health Organization between February 2013 and August 2020. Kristine’s expertise was further developed through consultancy at the International Labour Organization and as a Research Analyst at UNRISD. Kristine began a career in research at CAWTAR and was a Fulbright Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. Kristine earned an MSc in Development Studies from Lund University and a BA in Political Science and French from Bates College.
