Maria Bernabeu Aznar

Maria Bernabeu is a Group Leader at EMBL and a Postdoctoral Scientist at Seattle Children's. Maria has a background in studying cerebral malaria and severe disease in India, as well as Plasmodium vivax pathology and multigene families. Maria has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Infectious Disease Research and as a PhD student at CRESIB. Maria has a Master of Science in Biomedical Research from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Licenciate Degree in Biology, Biomedical Research. Additionally, Maria has been a Visitor Student at La Trobe University.
