Meytal Landau is a highly accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as a Professor at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf since April 2023, and a Lead Scientist as well as Team Supervisor at DESY since September 2021. Landau has held an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor position at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since September 2012, and acts as a Visitor Group Leader and Visiting Professor on Sabbatical at EMBL since August 2019. Previous experience includes a Post Doctoral Scholar role focused on X-ray crystallography at UCLA from June 2007 to August 2012, and a PhD candidacy in Structural Bioinformatics at Tel-Aviv University from October 2002 to March 2007. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and an MSc in Neurobiochemistry from Tel Aviv University, as well as a B. Pharm in Pharmacy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
