Olga Koutsopoulos

Olga Koutsopoulos is an experienced professional in the field of project management and research, currently serving as a Grants Officer at EMBL since October 2023. Prior to this role, Koutsopoulos worked as a Senior Project Manager at the Inserm Institute for Viral and Liver Diseases, University of Strasbourg from September 2020 to May 2023, and held a position as an R&D specialist focused on non-dilutive funding strategies at Alentis Therapeutics in 2020. Koutsopoulos has extensive experience in project management and international programs, previously serving as a Project Manager at the Inserm Institute from 2013 to November 2018, and as a Post-doc at IGBMC from April 2009 to December 2012, specializing in cell biology and protein chemistry. Koutsopoulos obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from La Trobe University, where also earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours.
