Thileepan Sekaran

Thileepan Sekaran, PhD, is currently serving as a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at EMBL since October 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Doctoral Student at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine from August 2014 to September 2018, where Thileepan developed algorithms for annotating de-novo transcriptomes and contributed to publications through gene expression profiling. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Web Application Developer at MPIPZ from April 2014 to August 2014, where a web platform for sequencing data was engineered, and as a Scientific Co-Worker at the Institute of Reconstructive Neurobiology from March 2012 to July 2014, focusing on comparative analysis of microarray data.
