Bipin Rimal

Bipin Rimal is a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Land O'Lakes, Inc. since August 2023. Prior to this role, Bipin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from May 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included designing and analyzing bacterial next-generation sequencing experiments related to xenobiotic exposure, as well as analyzing metabolomics data using machine learning techniques at the PattersonLab. Earlier experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at SANN International College, Purbanchal University, from January to September 2016, overseeing a Bioinformatics course and assisting in molecular and microbiology labs. Bipin holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Penn State University (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Purbanchal University (2016), along with a high school education in Biology from St. Xavier's College (2009).
