Tobias Hub

Tobias Hub currently serves as a Predoctoral Fellow at EMBL Barcelona, starting in October 2023. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research from January to September 2023, and a Research Trainee position at EMBL Barcelona from March to June 2022. Tobias worked as a Working Student at Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg from May 2020 to March 2022, where a Bachelor Thesis focused on establishing a workflow for CRISPR/Cas9 based double knock-out cell lines in collaboration with the Heidelberg Institut of Pharmacology and the German Center for Diabetic Research. Additional experience includes a Research Internship at Karolinska Institute in 2021, and Research Internships at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in both Molecular Neurobiology and Biostatistics. Initial roles include a Working Student and Intern at MVZ Labor Dr. Limbach & Kollegen GbR, and an internship at the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tuebingen in 2017. Tobias Hub is pursuing a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology at Heidelberg University, having completed a Bachelor of Science in the same field at the same institution.
