Helena Palsdottir

Helena Palsdottir currently serves as the Senior Manager of Solution Development, Delivery & Support at Embla Medical, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Helena worked at Össur, where responsibilities included managing solution development and delivery as well as global process development from April 2021 to March 2024. Helena's experience also encompasses a role as a Risk Consultant at KPMG, focusing on IT, FinTech, governance, and compliance between August 2019 and April 2021. Prior to that, Helena was a Senior Operational Risk Analyst at the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority, conducting operational risk analysis from January 2017 to August 2019. Additional experience includes project management for ÍMARK, serving as Personal Assistant to the Governor at the Central Bank of Iceland, and administrative roles in Edinburgh. Helena holds a Master’s Degree in Management, Organisations, and Governance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside degrees in International Relations and Business Law from the University of Iceland and The University of Edinburgh, respectively.
