Fred Diorio

Fred DiOrio, DMD, currently serves as an Executive Dental Consultant at EmblemHealth since May 2023. Prior to this role, DiOrio was the Dental Medical Director at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey from September 2013 to May 2023, overseeing dental programs. DiOrio's experience includes a position as a Dental Consultant at SKYGEN and a long tenure in private practice from 1981 to 2013, alongside consulting roles with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Additionally, DiOrio served as an Army Officer and retired as a LTC from the US Army after a 28-year career. DiOrio holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, earned between 1975 and 1978.
