Karen Ignagni

Karen Ignagni is the current President and Chief Executive Officer at EmblemHealth. Karen has held this position since August 2015. Prior to their current role, Ms. Ignagni served as the President and CEO of America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) from January 1993 to August 2015. Before their time at AHIP, Ms. Ignagni was the Director at AFL CIO from January 1982 to January 1993.

Karen Ignagni has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science and Government from Providence College.
