Alexander Domahidi

Alexander Domahidi is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at embotech AG since September 2013. Previously, Alexander served as Group Leader at inspire AG from November 2013 to September 2017, focusing on fast, real-time optimization techniques for manufacturing and electrical drive systems at the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zurich. Alexander completed a Ph.D. in Automatic Control at ETH Zurich from 2009 to 2013, conducting research on machine learning and embedded convex optimization for model predictive control applications. Prior to this, Alexander was a research intern at ABB in 2008 and earned a Dipl. Ingenieur in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. Alexander also studied at Imperial College London from 2006 to 2007.
