Preetam Purohit

Preetam Purohit, CFA,CQF,FRM has extensive experience in risk management and capital markets. Preetam served as the Head of Hedging and Analytics at Embrace Home Loans, where they actively traded various financial instruments and developed risk models. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Risk Manager at Hartford Investment Management Co., focusing on quantifying market and credit risks. Preetam also held roles as a Capital Markets Analyst at Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines and a Risk Management Intern at Aviva Investors. Additionally, they gained programming experience as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Preetam Purohit earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Marine from Jadavpur University in 2006. Preetam then pursued an MBA in Finance and Investments from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, completing the program in 2011. In addition, they hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
