Fredric Newberg

Fredric Newberg is the Co-Founder and CTO of Embrace, a position they have held for the past six years. Prior to that, they were the CTO of Rave Social, where they built a scalable SaaS platform with the uptime required for high-volume, mobile games. Rave is an enterprise-grade, scalable, cross-platform toolkit used by some of the best mobile app developers in the world to build and leverage their own user accounts and social graph. Newberg was also the founding engineer for Kontagent (now Upsight), where they built a large-scale social/mobile analytics platform for top game developers and the F1000. Upsight is the leading enterprise SaaS "user centric" analytics platform for top social/mobile application developers. Tracking more than 1,500 applications, 250+ million monthly active users and in excess of 150 billion events each month for customers around the globe.

Fredric Newberg has a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in Electrical Engineering from 1997-2002. Theirthesis was on Low-power Wireless Sensor Networks. Fredric also has two other degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in Electrical Engineering from 1996-1997 and 1992-1995 respectively.
