Amber Batteiger McLaughlin

Amber Batteiger McLaughlin, MPA, APR, currently serves as the PR and Communications Manager at Embrace Pet Insurance since November 2022. Previously, Amber held the position of Disaster & Cruelty Response Program Director at American Humane from December 2015 to November 2022, managing nationwide outreach and disaster relief efforts while acting as a spokesperson for national campaigns. Amber's experience also includes roles as a Cardiology & Pulmonology Veterinary Nurse at the Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Care Center, Grant Programs Manager at Palm Healthcare Foundation, Marketing and Communications Manager at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and Editorial Contributor at The Florida Times Union. Amber holds a Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of North Florida.
