Jose Gustavo

Jose Gustavo has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious companies and organizations. Jose began their career in 1999 at Lockheed Martin, where they served as a Program Manager and Systems Engineer. Jose then joined the Portuguese Air Force in 1997, working as the F-16 Deputy Fleet Manager. In 2002, Jose joined OGMA-Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, S.A. as a Program Manager and later served as the Portuguese Ministry of Defense Representative. Jose returned to the Portuguese Air Force in 2004, this time as the F-16 Senior Program Manager. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as an Aviation Specialist at NATO. Jose then transitioned to the Portuguese Air Force as a Senior Program Manager, focusing on aircraft logistics, maintenance, and international programs. In 2013, they worked briefly as the Business Development Manager for Defense Aviation at OGMA-Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, S.A., before moving on to their current role as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Embraer.

Jose Gustavo's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from both the Instituto Superior Técnico and the PRT Air Force Academy. Jose also completed a Post-Graduation program in International Relations and Affairs from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, a Post-Graduation program in Sales Management from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education, and an Executive Program in Advanced Project Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Furthermore, they participated in executive programs in Advanced Negotiation from Nova School of Business and Economics and in Sales and Marketing Operations/Marketing and Distribution Teacher Education from INSEAD.
