Tom Thorne

Tom Thorne is a seasoned sales and business development leader with extensive experience in the satellite communications industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for EMEA at Kymeta Corporation since October 2021, Tom previously held the position of Sales Director at Signalhorn and led sales operations across 25 countries at Comtech EF Data as Sales Director for Central Europe and Russia/CIS. Prior roles include Director of Business Development at Stellar Professional Communication Services and Sales Director for Central and Eastern Europe at ST Engineering iDirect. Tom began a career in sales management as a Sales Manager at Stratos, focusing on Central European markets and NGOs. Educational achievements include an MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a BA in History and German from Amherst College, and an MBA in Economics from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
