Roger Jakobsen

Roger Jakobsen is a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Embriq, where since August 2011, the focus has been on developing and maintaining the Quant Insight platform used for optimizing smart grid operations in Norway and Sweden. Previously, Roger served as a Senior Consultant at Embriq Consulting AS, contributing to various software development projects, including full stack development for Smart Grid solutions and customer portals. Prior experience includes roles as a Java Consultant at Knowit, with expertise in J2SE and J2EE technologies, and software development at Avanza Bank and MobileArts AB, specializing in transactional systems and desktop application development, respectively. Roger holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University, earned between 2001 and 2006.
