Kaitlyn Smith

Kaitlyn Smith is a Mechanical Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, expected to graduate in May 2026. Currently serving as a Non-Destructive Evaluation Research Technician at Embry-Riddle, Kaitlyn leads propellant mixing operations for experimental solid rocket propellants and produces test specimens for structural analysis. Kaitlyn also co-leads the Project Perseus at Rocket Development Lab, focusing on hybrid propulsion rocket design and injector systems. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant, Rocket Propulsion Engineering Intern at VALT Enterprises, and Computer-Aided Design Drafter at MGM Innovative Tech Group, demonstrating proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and engineering principles.
